The Fort Belknap Casino is owned and operated by the Fort Belknap Indian Community.
BACKGROUND
The Fort Belknap Casino, located on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in Montana, was established in 1992. It provides gaming and entertainment options, contributing to the economic development of the Fort Belknap Tribe. The casino has been and will continue to be a supporting role to various community services and programs
WHO WE ARE
The Gros Ventre (Aaniiih) and Assiniboine (Nakoda) people have lived in the region for centuries, with their traditional lifestyle revolving around hunting, fishing, and gathering, especially of buffalo. Historically, they faced significant challenges due to the U.S. government's policies, including forced relocation and the establishment of reservations. Despite these hardships, the Fort Belknap Tribe has maintained a strong sense of identity and cultural pride.
